But there are times which call for a more thorough and exacting conditioning. Our Factory Recrafting Service puts your boots or shoes back into the hands of their creators. The outsole, midsole, and insole are each surgically removed before your footwear is re-lasted on its original last, before being re-soled on the same equipment. The leather uppers are also cleaned, conditioned and polished. When performed at intervals appropriate to the degree and intensity of your wear, Recrafting will add years and even decades to the life of your fine footwear—not only protecting your investment, but helping preserve the old way.
