How it Works:

If you believe your product to be defective, please email [email protected] and be sure to include:

• Images and description of the defect in question
• Place of purchase and an order number, receipt or other transaction documentation
• Your contact information and the best time to reach you

After reviewing your inquiry, we will contact you with the recommended resolution as soon as possible.

What’s Covered:

• All Oak Street Bootmakers shoes, boots, and accessories purchased directly from Oak Street Bootmakers or through an authorized Oak Street Bootmakers retailer
• Significant irregularities and major color variations beyond what is typically and naturally present in organic materials such as leather or textiles
• Manufacturing defects which compromise the integrity or function of the product

What’s Not Covered:

• Damage resulting from improper use, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear-and-tear
• Minor irregularities naturally present in organic materials such as leather or textiles
• Minor quirks typical of a handcrafted process and within reasonable tolerances which do not compromise the integrity or function of the product

What’s ‘normal wear-and-tear’:

• Natural breakdown of materials resulting from regular long-term use
• Creases, scratches, and scuffs typical of well-worn natural materials
• Breakdown of laces, soles, and heels as is expected with regular long-term use

Please Note:

• If for some reason a repair is not possible or reasonably practical, we may opt to provide a replacement product or issue a store credit
• To more swiftly fulfill an obligation to repair, we may opt to reimburse work completed by a local cobbler rather than performing the repair in-house
• Overseas customers may be responsible for shipping costs depending on the available return shipping options from the origin location
