The Lakeshore Boot’s versatile style, ergonomic fit, and best-in-class durability have made it a favorite amongst musicians. Not long ago, singer-songwriter, producer, and friend-of-the-brand Butch Walker asked us to develop a Lakeshore Boot even more suited to life on the road. We created a unique sole configuration that combines a lightweight Vibram Christy outsole with a thick midsole for additional support and Barbour Storm Welt for maximum water resistance—both hand-finished in dark brown to ward off stains. As you can see from his boots pictured here, Butch was pleased with the result. After seeing how well they held up on tour and how surprisingly well-balanced the Lakeshore Boot looks with this sole, we decided to produce a whole batch.
